Journal: Short and Sweet Book Review - Miracle Morning - Paul Duncan

Journal: Short and Sweet Book Review - Miracle Morning - Paul Duncan

Morning everyone, I have been telling myself that I would like to start re-capping books that I read for a couple reasons.

1) To remember and recall what I just finished reading.

2) To share recommendations with you guys
3) To get more recommendations from others.

So, this is just off the hip and not going to be structured in any type of way. I’m starting this at 5:18 on a Friday, and have a few minutes to spare, so instead of turning on Netflix, here we go.

I actually finished “Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod a couple of weeks ago, and am now on to “Think and Grow Rich”. Miracle Morning was a recommendation from my sister, Tiffany. :-)

Ok, so the book summed up in one sentence: This book is basically a 6 step routine to creating a more productive morning, ultimately designed to make you more successful.

If your mornings currently feel rushed and out of control this is a really good read, especially for someone that DESIRES to become a morning person.

I did enjoy the book, a lot of it seemed very simplistic to me, a lot of the things I am already doing, but it did provide me with some ideas of how to make waking up at 4 or 4:30 in the morning easier.

I have always believed that the best things in life happen before the sunrise, well not always, but Ive been a fan of forcing myself up early for a long time time. I get more work and productivity done before the sun comes up than any other time of day.

It wasn’t my favorite book, but I would still recommend you read it :-) Have you read the book? Let me know what you thought. Also let me know your other recommendations!
