Top 3 handheld water bottles for 2019 - Coach Paul Duncan

As a coach, I recommend having hydration on you at all times for any runs over one hour!

Handheld water bottles are the best choice for most runners! Highly recommend you have one. Or Two.

My opinion, a handheld water bottle is a much better option for those going for the long haul on the trail or any run over an hour in general.

Most handhelds hold anywhere between 10 ounces and 24 ounces. A 10 ounce is silly. Thats like three sips. Go with the bigger one. Unless you have a water fountain that spits out gatorade every 4 miles.
