FOOD REVIEW: Truffles N Bacon - Las Vegas

Yesterday we headed over to Truffles and Bacon. This is not the first time I have been here. My good buddy Rawlins turned me on to this place a long time ago and I have been coming back every once in a while since.
ABOUT: I would label this place as a mid scale diner, not too fancy, but fancy enough. They offer creative all day breakfasts, and lunch with soup, salad, sandwiches, etc.. When I go there it’s usually relatively slow, but the vibe is mellow and nice.
Veggie Omelette with added pork belly.
FOOD: I got a veggie omelette and added Pork Belly. Obviously it was delicious, it was an omelette loaded with veggies and super fatty pork. I actually left feeling fairly full which is pretty rare. Pork belly is full of filling fat and they put a lot on there!
SERVICE: Usually when I go in, I get a cool dude named Dino... You can tell he loves his job. He remembers many of his customers by name, and tells lots of cool stories. The services isn’t always the fastest, but its always friendly from him. This trip we got a lady that was pretty nice too, but she was no Dino. She seemed a little overwhelmed with my original request to put everything they had on the menu into my omelette. It’s ok, my requests are ridiculous.
They have lunch too. - Burger.
OVERALL: Im not feeling like giving a number rating today, but I really like this place. I think it’s a little over priced, and I still like the actual food better at some other breakfast places.. But the coffee is made by Lavazza (which I think is outstanding, but I am by NO means a coffee snob, I am much more of a food quantity snob) and to be honest, we come back because Dino’s customer service. If any of you go, tell him Triathlon Coach Paul Duncan said hey. He will be pumped.
