Healthy Recipe: Egg, Cheese, Mushroom Omelette

This recipe is an easy recipe to add to your daily meal planning. It should take less than 20 minutes total between prep and cook time. 

Makes 1 Serving: 
Macro's per serving

3g Carbs
38g Fat
27g Protein
459 KCal

Butter 2 tbsp - OR for less Kcal, use non stick cooking spray
Mushroom 1/2 cup
Egg, 1 whole
Egg White (3 whites of egg) 
Cheddar Cheese (1 ounce) 

Note: You can buy egg whites in a carton as well to make life easier. 3 tbsp =1 egg white. 


DIRECTIONS: 

Step 1: Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2: Cook chopped mushroom until soft. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3: Mix whole egg and egg whites in a bowl; pour into skillet. Cook until egg starts to look dry. Add mushrooms and cheese.

Step 4: Fold sides of egg toward the middle and wait for cheese to melt. Serve immediately.
